What is live-interview?

We provide a Video Interview Software Platform with online assistance for recruitment of personnel.
A. The system enables companies or placement companies to conduct interviews of potential employees through a two-way video chat scheduled by an invitation by email or SMS. The system allows to record video calls, archive them and share it with the team or other companies.
B. The system allows you to enter a questionnaire with your questions and invite candidates to record the answers in the video. You can categorize your videos and share with your team or other companies.

Do I need to download a software in order to use the service?

No. Our service is an internet service and works through Google Chrome browser.

Who is the service intended for?

This service is intended for companies that recruit workers and placement companies who want to save time by meeting with candidates online.

What are the benefits of using live-interview?

Unlike a typed resume, you can watch a recorded resume that lets you understand exactly who the person is. You can see his body language, speech and understand more than resumes on a page. In addition, you can direct the candidate to answer questions you have prepared in advance. You can also share the recorded CVs with the company staff and get another opinion. A recorded video chat interview can save a lot of time and money.

How does it work exactly?

Start with the sign up button above. After signing up you can enter your company info like your logo etc. Next step is to add your recruiters or simply start inviting candidates to answer your recorded questions, or invite them to a live video chat.

We are a HR company. Can we use live-interview for more then one companies?

In live-interview you can add an unlimited number of companies to manage. To can create or use an existing business, use the "Company List".

How can I send a recorded interview invitation?

To create a recording interview, select the Recording Interviews section of the menu. Select "Create Recorded interview template" and follow the steps. It is necessary to enter the questions you would like to ask the candidates. Then select a candidate to send the interview and send the invitation to.

How will I know when I receive a recorded video interview from a candidate?

You need to enter "Sent Invitations" in Recorded Interviews". When a recording is received, the status will be changed to RECORD with the ability to press the button and watch the recording.

How can I record a live video interview and watch it later?

On the live interview screen press the "Start Recording" button. Then the live interview will be recorded. After the interview is complete, the video will be uploaded to the invitation page. From there, you will have the opportunity to watch the interview and share it with your colleagues and partners.

I forgot my password and can’t access my account. What should I do?

If you forgot your password, go to Signup and to click on "Forgot password". Fill your registration E-mail in order to receive an E-mail with a link for changing your password.

Can I use one E-mail for more than one accounts?

No, you can use only one E-mail. You can add different companies under your account, or be connected to other companies from your employer or partners.

What is the difference between the Recorded video interview and Live video interview?

The Recorded video interview is called One-Way Video Interview, meaning you create questions for your candidates and send them by a Recorded Video Invitation. When the candidates receive the questions they record the answers by themselves during a time limit set in advance. After finish recording, the candidates send the answers to you via the system and the recordings become active in your account. From here on, you can watch them, analyze them and share them with colleagues and partners. The Live Video Interview is an online interview in real time. You choose a date and time for the interview and after confirmation from the candidate you can talk with him/her online. You will conduct a video chat. You can record and save the conversation and use it later.

Can I test my candidates before I send them an invitation for an interview?

Yes, you can use our Multi-choice Test. Just add questions with several answers / Only one of them should be correct/, set a time duration for each answer and add points of each correct answer. Send the test to your candidates and analyze the received results.

What is Live-interview?

Live-interview is an automation video interview and recruitment platform that gives to the candidates the opportunity to conduct a personal live or recorded video interview.

You can do it on your own time and from the comfort of your own home. Show employers your personality, uniqueness and impress them before you step through the door. Save your time and money for phone interviews, commuting and long wait times whit Live-interview. Your time is precious, so when invite you for the next stage; you will know you’re meeting with employers who you’ve already made an impression on beyond your CV.

How do I do my interview?

Live-interview is easy to use. When receiving an invitation for a live interview in your email, you will have an option to accept the proposed time and date of the employer, to change them or cancel the invitation.

Once agreed to the time, you have to click on the link in the invitation again and press the button Go to Live Interview. You will have options to set and check your camera and microphone before continuing.

 

For a recorded interview you will receive an email invitation with detailed instructions on how to record your interview. To complete your video interview, you’ll need either a webcam on your PC/laptop or a smartphone. You can start by clicking the link sent to your email. The video interview is usually comprised of a number of questions that companies ask pertaining to the job. It’s a pre-recorded interview which means there won’t be anybody else asking you questions on the other side.

Where does my Live-interview video go?

Your Live-interview video interview will be sent to the managers at the company to which you’ve applied for a position.

Do I need an account?

Candidates do not need to create an account in order to record video interview. All that is required to complete your interview is to click on the link in the interview invitation, sent to your email.

What if I mess up the answers, will I be able to record my Live-interview again?

Yes, after answering all the questions, you have the opportunity to view the entire video and, if you are not satisfied, record a new one, that will overwrite the previous. Once finished and sent to the employer, no changes can be made in the recorded interview.

I've been invited by a company to take a Live-interview. Do I have to pay to use it?

No, the platform is absolutely free for the candidates.

 A good internet connection is required for a successful Live Interview. It is suggested that you are directly connected to the internet through a cable not via WiFi. Using a direct connection will ensure that you have the best possible bandwidth available and reduces latency issues to a minimum. This will result in better picture and audio quality.

 

Selecting a webcam

When selecting a webcam, make sure you can see yourself in the video preview before you enter a Live Interview.

Ensure your webcam is properly installed on your computer before participating in a Live Interview.

 

Other applications

Close all applications other than Live Interview that use your webcam and microphone. These applications such as Skype and FaceTime may interfere with Live Interview's ability to leverage your webcam and microphone.

When beginning your Live Interview, it can be helpful to keep your microphone volume low, and adjust it once you have entered the interview. It is also helpful to keep your speaker volume low when you first begin, and adjust it after entering your interview.

 

Using a Headset

A headset can reduce feedback from your speakers entering an open microphone. If you experience a lot of echoing and have adjusted your microphone input and speaker output, another alternative is to use a headset or headphones. This can improve the interview experience in some situations.

 

Other Applications

Close all applications other than Live Interview that use your webcam and microphone. These applications such as Skype and FaceTime may interfere with Live Interview's ability to leverage your webcam and microphone.
